Strengthening Our Voice: MHANCO Partners with Expert Lobbyists to Advance Mental Health Advocacy
As the Mental Health Advocacy Network of Colorado (MHANCO) continues to grow its impact, we are proud to announce the retention of two highly experienced lobbyists—Camille Driver of 3015 Policy and Susanna Mizer of Impact Public Affairs. Their expertise will be invaluable as we navigate the complex world of policy and legislation to better serve mental health providers and the communities they support.
Why do we need lobbyists? Mental health policy is often shaped in the halls of government, where specialized knowledge and strategic advocacy make all the difference. Camille and Susanna bring deep experience working with Colorado lawmakers, state agencies, and key stakeholders on healthcare and social service issues. Their understanding of Medicaid, commercial insurance, and provider networks aligns perfectly with MHANCO’s mission to improve access and equity in mental health care.
Camille Driver has a proven track record in advancing policies that support the clients she has represented (3015policy.com), while Susanna Mizer’s expertise in coalition-building and public affairs, especially her expertise with the Joint Budget Committee, will help amplify our partnerships and community voice. Together, they will guide MHANCO in shaping legislation, securing funding, and influencing regulations that create sustainable, meaningful change.
With Camille and Susanna on our side, MHANCO is better equipped than ever to advocate effectively for mental health providers and the clients they serve—ensuring that mental health remains a priority in Colorado’s policy agenda.
